PAYM

The Toa Payoh East Youth Group organised a wide range of activities with the aim of catering to the needs of our members and residents. We organise many social and recreational activities with the educational tours being the best attended. An equal mix of young and old took part in the factories and farm tours as well as visits to historical sites.

Street soccer and basketball tournaments were organised to furnish the sports loving members with opportunities for interaction and friendly competition. Street soccer proved to be such a popular sport that our Sports Secretary felt compelled to form a Street Soccer Club. Members of the Street Soccer Club are encouraged to participate in various intra and inter-community club tournaments in order to constantly upgrade their skills.

Our Youth Group has always been very supportive of community work, and our Community Service Secretary is particularly active in assisting the Befrienders at providing lunch for the senior citizens living alone in the community. Other community service include cleaning the homes of senior citizens, entertained the aged and outings for children. We have always been active participants in regional and national projects organised by the People's Association Youth Movement and other grassroots organisations.

Come join us for fun and enriching experience. Make new friends along the way and pick up some skills too. We going to have a good time together. Don't hesitate, join us now.
